Tower Notes: Almost Home

GO BACK

Tower Notes, Almost Home, final, 8.5x11 enlargement PRINT, CWJefferson native and artist, David Williamson unveiled the 50th Anniversary poem for the Mahanay Bell Tower entitled, Tower Notes: Almost Home at the celebration on Sunday, October 16, 2016.  Over 400 people attended the event and listened as David pealed out the poetic words created with the community input throughout the summer.  At one point he paused as the Bell Tower struck 3 o’clock as if right on cue.  This gift to the community from the Class of 1966 Jefferson graduate is very much appreciated.
