The Tower View Team and Home State Bank are co-sponsoring the 2nd Ring Out for Art competition. The successful contest made a huge impact in downtown Jefferson in 2016 as the top 3 entries are still being displayed until the end of April. 2017 applications are available on this website or at the Main Street Office. They can also be emailed to contestants by contacting director@jeffersonmatters.org Entry deadline is March 10, 2017.
This competition includes the juried selection of six sculptures who will be notified by March 15, 2017. Sculpture delivery dates would be the week of May 15. People’s Choice voting will be held during the Bell Tower Festival on June 9 & 10. The top 3 places receive the following cash awards – 1st Place $2,000; 2nd Place $1,000; 3rd Place $500. These 3 sculptures will remain on the Bell Tower Plaza through April of 2018.
