Planter proposal for downtown

GO BACK

The Design committee continues to work towards spring weather ahead as they coordinate efforts for additional planters for the next streets off the Square.  The City had asked for recommendations to expand the beautiful flowers and plants.  The decision was to continue the classic black theme of the pillar planters, seating on the Bell Tower Plaza, fencing and décor of the Thomas Jefferson Gardens, hanging baskets, and the new wayfinding signage.

The members have been working with Shane Olson of Olson IronWorks in Churdan who created the spectacular pillar planters on 12 pillars in the downtown.  Watch for progress on this project in early spring.  Thanks to Ann Ober and Deb Kucerak who are heading up this project.
