Rooftop Art installed by TVT

The Tower View Team has not only chosen the quilt patterns, painted the patterns and now has installed their own art installation of quilt patterns on the rooftop of Homestead Coffee at 121 E Lincoln Way in Jefferson.  The four patterns together are called “Patches of Greene” because they symbolize four significant parts of Greene County – Railroad Crossing, Card Trick, Antique Tile and Whirling Windmill.  Shelly Berger, Roger Aegerter and Tower View Team members have worked on this project for almost a year.  On Sunday, April 23, a group moved the large aluminum panels into place on the roof and glued them down.  More painting of the roof will be completed before the TVT deems this ready to view.

This is the third art installation but the first that the Tower View Team has completed all on their own.  Volunteers involved along with Shelly Berger & Roger Aegerter include Dianne Piepel, Amy Roberts, Kay Magill, Lynda Cochran, Deb McGinn, Marc McGinn, Neva Arp, Andy McGinn and Bill Berger.
