Derby Cash Mob on May 6

All are invited to join another Cash Mob in downtown Jefferson on Saturday, May 6. The idea of a Cash Mob is for each person to plan to spend $20 and make an economic impact on the businesses that are visited.

Everyone should meet at the Main Street office at 110 W Lincoln Way at 10 a.m. and walk up to Angie’s Tea Garden with pastries and drinks on the morning menu. The group will then trot down the street to Fudge’s Flowers & Gifts to spend some cash there. This May date is a great time to order flowers or purchase gifts or gift certificates for the upcoming Mother’s Day weekend. The receipts will be entered into a drawing for $25 of Chamber Bucks.

Since May 6 is Kentucky Derby Day, the theme for the day is Derby Cash Mob. Participants are invited to wear their finest hats as they move through the downtown if they would like. Men, women and kids are welcome to attend this special event.

This is a project of the Promotion Committee of Jefferson Matters: Main Street.
