A group of volunteers are making a huge impact! Members of the Design Committee are taking a hands-on approach with a bucket of paint, ladders and lifts. Deb Kucerak was awarded a Paint Iowa Beautiful grant for paint to improve facades in downtown Jefferson. A recommendation of black paint to help simulate windows on Angie’s Teagarden was completed by Chris Heisterkamp and Susan Fray. The former Aha Bakery building was painted a lighter color to attract attention to potential buyers. This was painted by Deb and Susan. Thanks to all of these volunteers for Main Street better known as J-MOC!
