Main Street Iowa design consultant Maia Jessen Fiala is available to Jefferson Main Street building owners for free. This service involves an hour of one-on-one time visiting and looking at the building. Maia wants to understand what the goals are for the building and share suggestions for improvements. A simple form is needed to complete with a checklist of items of interest. Current pictures and any historical pictures available are needed to be sent to them. Maia then returns a design conceptual along with resource materials.
The Design Team encourages building owners interested to get the form completed and returned to the Main Street office. With the City’s offer of 50/50 match for facade improvements with an approved plan, this is a great opportunity for ideas!
