Fall planters in downtown

Thanks to the Design committee and volunteers called “Flower Power” for coordinating the fall plants and pumpkins for downtown Jefferson.  Chairperson Karen Lawton works with Kathy Milligan and Bonnie Silbaugh to order all of the plants through Fudge’s Flowers and pumpkins through Deal’s Orchard.  A crew of over 10 spent Friday, Sept. 13 to fill the 12 pillar planters and 8 sets of cluster planters.  The cluster planters were purchased by the City of Jefferson through Olson IronWorks of Churdan.  There have been many compliments on how this adds to the Beauty in Jefferson banners.  Thanks to the City Crew for watering the plants and flowers during the week and for volunteers watering on the weekends.
