Community Appreciation Night will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 7 p.m. at the Greene County High School Performing Arts Center. The focus of the program is to showcase volunteerism, information about each of the organization’s teams and their achievements, and to present the Above & Beyond the Call (ABC) Award for 2020. With the merge of the Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce and Jefferson Matters: Main Street, this program is a combination of the former chamber’s annual meeting and Jefferson Matters Main Street’s Volunteer Appreciation Night. The presenters will be President Jamie Daubendiek, Vice-President Ian Wilkinson, Director Reegan Hanigan, as well as chairpersons from each of the teams. Presenting the ABC Award are Gary and Shirley Haupert, recipients of the 2019 ABC Award. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to park in the south parking lot and enter the building through the south entrance.
