Community Appreciation Night set for Tuesday, March 22

Jefferson Matters: A Main Street & Chamber Community invites the public to the second annual Community Appreciation Night to be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at the Greene County High School Performing Arts Center. Appetizers will be served by the Ram Restaurant Culinary Arts students at 6:30 followed by the program at 7:00 PM. The focus of the program is to showcase the progress of our community along with the presentation of the ABC (Above & Beyond the Call) Award. Jamie Daubendiek, President of JM:MS&CC will introduce the audience with a brief update on the recent successes of Jefferson Matters: A Main Street & Chamber Community.  Guest speakers include Chuck Offenburger of the Diversity Project; Peg Raney of the Why Not Us, LLC, Jacque Andrew of the Greene County Early Learning Center, and Mike Palmer, City Administrator. At the completion of the program, Harry Ahrenholtz, recipient of last year’s ABC Award, will present the 2021 ABC Award. Following the program, there will be a reception in the Commons area where there will be desserts and an opportunity to visit and congratulate the newest ABC Award recipient. The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to park in the south parking lot and enter the building through the south entrance.
