Winter Greens for Downtown Planters

The Design Team of Jefferson Matters: Main Street is the volunteer base for twelve pillar planters and eight sets of cluster planters around the downtown.  The fall pumpkins and foliage were cleaned out before Thanksgiving and replaced with winter evergreens on a sunny 52 degree day.  The City of Jefferson purchases the greenery and plants through Fudge’s Flowers in downtown Jefferson.  The planters are changed out for each season and last for about three months.  This project has made a huge impact on the beauty of the downtown at each season.
