Tour of Available Buildings – Dreams Start Here

It’s time for a tour of available buildings in Jefferson’s Main Street District.  A group of volunteers are working with Greene County Development Corporation, Jefferson Matters: Main Street and the City of Jefferson to plan the event on Thursday, April 25 from 11:30 am – 5:30 pm and Saturday, April 27 from 10 am – 2 pm.

Available building owners within the district are being contacted to be open with information on sale or lease options.  Owners will have a representative on location from 12 – 1 and 4 – 5 pm on Thursday and 12 – 1 on Saturday.  The committee is coordinating greeters at each location.

Registration will be located at the Welcome Center with a comprehensive packet of available buildings given to attendees including local & state incentives.  A waiver will need to be signed at the Welcome Center before attendees will be able to enter the available buildings.  Greeters will be on hand at the entrance of each building to ensure registration.  Entrepreneurs, new & expanding small businesses, developers and locals are invited to attend to dream and develop in our downtown.

EntreBash – Connections for Small Business will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 5 – 7 pm at the Elk’s Lodge.  Midwest Partnership’s Director Sarah Gomez will coordinate free resources available for small businesses to interact with those attending.  Free refreshments and a cash bar will be available.  A local panel of small business owners is being planned during the event.

Committee members include Sandra Drewry, Jeanne Myers, Kathy Milligan, Nick Sorensen, Jamie Daubendiek, Ken Paxton, Amanda Bills, Sarah Gomez, Brandon Hommer, Jacque Andrew, Kimberly Tiefenthaler and Peg Raney.
