Storefront Signage Grant for Junkyard Cafe

GO BACK

The Junkyard Café at 108 W State received a $288 mini-grant towards the new signage for the business.  New owners Karla Holman and Krystal Dzuris named the café after Karla’s father who had a cool Cadillac that she had dreamed about using if she opened her own restaurant.  As soon as they purchased the business, they worked to get the new signage in place before they opened

The Storefront Signage Mini-grant is a project of Jefferson Matters: Main Street’s Design committee. Sandi Drewry, Karen Lawton and Mike Palmer are pictured representing Main Street’s Design Team.

Creative and unique signage that reflects the business and fits the space of the façade is the goal of the Design Team in offering this mini-grant program.  Unger Insurance and Meythaler Photography have also received this grant funding for their new signage. This mini-grant is a 50/50 match up to $500.

There are still funds available for projects approved by the Design Team.  For more information on the application, visit www.jeffersonmatters.org under Resources, or contact director@jeffersonmatters.org
