Spendin’ of the Green another big success!

Over 30 people participated in the Cash Mob on Saturday, March 12 in Jefferson with many dressing the part of “Wearin’ of the Green” while they were “Spendin’ of the Green”.  Led by a leprechaun, Don’s Ace Hardware was the destination for the mobbers to spend at least $20.  Andy Harland reported that sales doubled during the time they group was in the store.  The mobbers then proceeded to Peony for lunch.  Drawings were held with Kathy Steussy winning $25 in Chamber Bucks and Amy McGinn winning a gift certificate to Sierra Theatre donated by Lisa Jaskey.  The Promotion Committee of Jefferson Matters: Main Street is planning another event for next month so stay tuned!
