Ring Out for Art sculptures arrive in downtown

The 2019 Ring Out for Art sculptures have arrived in downtown Jefferson and are located on the north side of the Greene County Courthouse.  This project is a collaboration with Main Street’s Tower View Team and Home State Bank.  With the goal of public art for residents and visitors to enjoy, this contest has evolved to a juried selection of four sculptures.  These will be displayed on the north side of the courthouse until after the Bell Tower Festival.  They will then be moved to the Bell Tower Plaza to remain until the end of October.  A new location for these sculptures is being identified for them to be available throughout the year.

Each of the sculptors will be recognized on Friday night of the Bell Tower Festival where they will receive the stipend from Home State Bank and the Tower View Team.  They are also invited to be involved in the Art Stroll on May 30 from 5- 7 pm where people can stroll around and look at the various new public art pieces in Jefferson’s downtown.
