Pillar Building progress

The building that will hold the Pillar Technology business called The Jefferson Forge is in the process of renovation.  Chris Deal is overseeing the progress of his building with the plans of completion this summer.  Historic tax credits and the Community Catalyst grant along with support from Greene County Development Corporation and Midland Power Cooperative has moved this project to the forefront of conversation around the state for similar projects.  A grand opening on Saturday, September 7 is in the works with opportunities for the public to tour the facility. Speeches by various dignitaries and friends of technology for this rural revolution will be involved.
