Don’t live in Central Iowa but are 50+ and love to learn?
Today, it doesn’t matter where you live, because our programming is now online with Zoom.
OLLI at ISU (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Iowa State University) is a lifelong learning program for ANYONE who is 50+. There are no tests, and it’s a great opportunity to learn just for the fun of learning alongside other lifelong learners. Classes are held during fall, winter, and spring sessions. Because lifelong learners are busy, we offer a variety of class lengths, ranging from a one-day 90-minute session to eight weeks and everything in between. Some courses give you time to try your skills outside of class time for independent writing and photography, among other activities. Topics are carefully curated – history, literature, health/wellness, science, government, current events, and so many others – thanks to a volunteer curriculum committee. Didn’t like history or science in school? Give these subjects another try with us!
There is a $25 annual membership fee, and classes are paid ala cart. For more information contact Jerilyn Logue, director at jlogue@iastate.edu or go to our website: www.isualum.org/olliatisu
