Jefferson Matters: Main Street will host a Visioning Visit from Main Street Iowa on Tuesday, May 7, at 5 p.m. in the upper level of the Jefferson City Hall. The meeting will be facilitated by Michael Wagler, state coordinator, and Darlene Strachan, assistant state coordinator, of Main Street Iowa.
Wagler and Strachan will ask participants to share their vision of downtown Jefferson in the years ahead. This meeting (postponed by weather from February) will build on the comments made at a March 18 meeting in Jefferson that addressed the future of Greene County.
A light supper will be served at 5 p.m. with the meeting to begin at 5:30 p.m. RSVP to jeffersonmatters.org or email to community@jeffersonmatters.org. For further information or to make a reservation by phone, contact Alan Robinson, program director, Jefferson Matters: Main Street, 515-386-3585.
