Main Street Investment Drive

The annual Investment Drive for Main Street will kick off in early November.  The theme is Setting Our Sights on 2020 with each of the committees along with the board setting goals with projects to support them for 2020.

The Board has set a goal of raising $75,000 this year to fund the projects.  Last year’s goal of $70,000 was met to help expand the projects for 2019.  An incentive of a Main Street experience entices people to make their investments before Dec. 31, 2019 to be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate package of food and entertainment in the downtown.

Main Street does not have memberships and as a 501 c 3, donations are tax deductible.  Investors are businesses and individuals who want to continue the mission of working together to strengthen, support and energize Jefferson’s downtown through historic preservation.  Here is a link to online donations:  Invest in Jefferson Matters: Main Street

Watch as the mini-bell tower outside of the Main Street office moves up as investments come in!
