Jefferson Matters: Main Street 2015 Awards

IsenPhoto_348Members of Jefferson Matters: Main Street and the City of Jefferson attended the Main Street Iowa 30th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, April 29 in Des Moines.  Jefferson received several awards at the ceremony.

IsenPhoto_263 (1)Chris Heisterkamp was honored as the 2015 Leadership recipient for Jefferson’s Main Street program.  Chris spent countless hours working on beautification projects for the downtown.

Jefferson also received a plaque as they reached the $3 million benchmark for private funds used for downtown revitalization efforts since the program began in 2012.  President Jamie Daubendiek and City Council member Harry Ahrenholtz were on hand to receive this award.  Seventeen people from the community were in attendance at this special event.
