Hilary Greenberg, a nationally known business redevelopment specialist, will be the featured presenter at a Main Street Iowa regional workshop, “Tips for Building a Healthier Business Mix,” in Jefferson on Wednesday, July 23.
Greenberg is the principal of Greenberg Development Services, a Charlotte, N.C.-based consulting firm that specializes in business recruitment, retention and redevelopment programs for neighborhood commercial corridors and downtowns. She is nationally recognized for economic development training programs used by Main Street communities across the country.
She is a regular speaker at state and national downtown conferences, including sessions for the National League of Cities.
Greenberg will be discussing business recruitment and business retention in a “lunch and learn” event in Jefferson from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the business center in the lower level of Sierra Community Theatre. Cost of the lunch (half-sandwich with toppings, chips, cookie and beverage) is $5. The event is hosted by Jefferson Matters: Main Street.
