ISU Retail Scapes Studio returns to Jefferson

Students in the ISU Retail Scapes Studio returned to Jefferson on Feb. 22 to make presentations to the community.  Six groups shared their thoughts on the identity and vision for Jefferson that they perceived from their research and tours of the community.  The student presenters indicated many positive aspects of Jefferson and had great insight on where we want to go.  Over 30 community members listened and then provided feedback to the students.

The next step for the semester class is for the 24 students to select a project within Jefferson and work on a poster with the conceptual ideas.  These posters will be presented in a fair-type atmosphere on Monday, March 28 from 2-4 p.m. at the Sierra Theatre. Community members will interact with the students on their projects.
