Incentives for Main Street presentation Oct. 9

What is available for me as a business and building owner in the Main Street District? This question and more will be discussed at the Business After Hours presentation on Monday, October 9 at the Elk’s Lodge in Jefferson. The presentation entitled “Incentives for Main Street” will be led by Main Street Iowa business specialists Robin Bostrom and Jim Thompson. They will review programs available from the state and federal levels including tax credit programs. Rebates and more from local utility providers that other Main Street communities take advantage of will be shared. Local incentive programs available in Jefferson will also be included along with a chance for brainstorming some possibilities with examples from other communities. A map of the Main Street District is available on the Jefferson Matters: Main Street website under the About tab. https://jeffersonmatt.wpengine.com/maps-historic-district-main-street-district/

This is a free presentation open to all interested and is hosted by the Economic Vitality Committee of Jefferson Matters: Main Street. The social time begins at 5:15 pm on Oct. 9 at the Elk’s Lodge with snacks and a free drink sponsored by Peoples Trust & Savings Bank. The presentation will begin at 5:45 pm and expected to last 45 minutes with time for questions.
