Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary Gift Garden Opens Saturdays for the Holidays

The Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary Gift Garden is opening its doors to the public for holiday shopping on select Saturdays during the season. Starting Saturday, November 20, 2021, the Gift Garden will be open a total of four Saturdays – November 20, December 4, December 11, and December 18 from 12pm – 4pm. “The decision to open the Auxiliary Gift Garden was one made with the community in mind. After being closed to the public for almost two years, the holiday season provided the perfect time to let the public back in, even if for only four days,” said Sue Rieder, Auxiliary president. The December 4, shopping day is also a day the public can come to the Medical Center to bid on the Auxiliary’s Holiday of Lights items. The public can bid on trees, wreaths, and baskets all made by Medical Center staff, Auxiliary members, and community members. All visitors will be screened upon entrance to the Medical Center Gift Garden and will be required to wear a mask. Shoppers will follow all Medical Center visitor guidelines, and will not be allowed into clinical areas.
