GCMC Acute and Emergency Department visitor restrictions

Effective Monday, November 1, 2021, non-Covid patients will be allowed to have one designated visitor during the their stay. In the event that we have a pediatric patient they will be allowed to have two parent/guardians present.

–       This will be a consistent person and no change out during stay.

–       The visitor must stay in the room at all times.

–       The visitor must wear a mask at all time.

–        Visiting hours are 8am – 7pm.

Covid positive patients will NOT be allowed visitors during their stay.

Clinics and medical care departments will be allowed one companion or support person with patient, pediatric patients will be allowed two parents/guardians during their stay.

Long term care will continue with compassionate care visits only.
