Family Feud Teams Named

Family Feud~Jefferson Edition is a gameshow with a local twist. This event will be held on Saturday, April 14 at History Boy Theatre in downtown Jefferson. Committee chairperson Amy Milligan announced the four “families” that will be squaring off vying for the two traveling trophies. Jefferson Telecom’s Jamie Daubendiek and Lindy Lehman are two members of their team. They reported their teammates have been reviewing the websites of local attractions to be ready to answer competition questions. Home State Bank’s team is coached by Sherry Palmer with concentration on their costumes for the evening. History Boy’s team is comprised of Robby Pedersen with actors from recent productions and feel they have a leg up because they are so familiar with the stage.   Team Emoji consists of long-time friends Don & Jean Feldmann, Doug & LeAnn Monaghan and Teresa Skalla. Their overall Jefferson knowledge base is strong so they are focusing on hitting the buzzer as fast as possible. Master of Ceremonies Rick Morain has his work cut out for him as he tries to manage the crazy personalities involved which will make for a hilarious evening for the audience.

Tickets for the event are available at Printer’s Box, Home State Bank, Peoples Trust & Savings Bank and the Main Street Office. Online ticket sales are available through the Jefferson Matters: Main Street Facebook page or this website under Events.   Tickets are $20 each and include appetizers from various Jefferson restaurants with bring your own drinks. Social time begins at 6:30 p.m with the first round beginning at 7:30 p.m. A new “Lightning Round” will pit the two winning teams against each other for the largest traveling trophy. Desserts will end the evening. This is a fundraiser for the Jefferson Matters: Main Street program with proceeds towards their many projects. The public is encouraged to attend.
