Design for N Chestnut Bldgs

The City of Jefferson acquired two storefronts that at one time was the Coast to Coast Store run by Harry & Vi Hoffman.  In recent years, Air-Temp Heating and Cooling had occupied the space.  The facade had been covered with siding.  Brian Hoffman had moved out of the north side and Elite Tumbling has been using that space on Tuesday evenings.  The south side is now vacant.

The Design Team has named vacant buildings with more positive names so this building is now known as Harry & Vi’s.

Main Street Iowa’s design consultant Tim Reinders worked with City Building Official and Main Street Director Peg Raney on a design for the facade.  This would be a part of the City’s plan for renovation of buildings and ready them for traffic generating businesses.
