City View on State has new windows

With the weather finally conducive to outdoor construction work, City View on State (200 E State) has new first floor windows. The City acquired this building from its dilapidated state and turning it around as a renovation project in the downtown. The storefront areas have two areas that will be perfect for traffic-generating businesses. The large curved windows allow beautiful light in from the west. Transom windows and storefront windows are yet to be installed.

The upper story has new windows installed and demo will continue for upper story living possibilities. The building has a new roof and asbestos has been removed. The brick will be painted after the window installation.

This building will be on the Available Buildings Tour on April 25 & 27. People will be required to register for the tour and sign a waiver before entering any of the buildings on the tour.
