Art on the Square – so cool!

The first Art on the Square event was so cool that plans are being made for next year’s.  Over 20 vendors from around Iowa displayed their beautiful artwork with many purchases made.  A wide variety of high quality visual art, photography, pottery, jewelry, illustrations, and creative art pieces were shared.  It was held on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 am – 4 pm.  This coordinated with the Red Barn Craft Sale, another vendor fair and Deal’s Orchard Festival so the town was really buzzing!

With the wind in the forecast, Amanda Bills & Addi Meyer graciously offered their property at 123 N Chestnut to use and it was perfect!  With nice music and a cool atmosphere, the artists and visitors had a wonderful day.

This Tower View Team event was coordinated by a Ginny Showman, Dan Meythaler, Joyce Kurth, Jolene Peters, and Ken Bose.  They are excited to offer this again next year on the 2nd weekend in October.
