Celebration of Healthcare Heroes at Greene County Medical Center Foundation Golf Fundraiser

The Greene County Medical Center Foundation will hold its Annual Golf Fundraiser Friday, June 18, 2021, at the Jefferson Community Golf Course. A special celebration of our local healthcare heroes will be included this year that marks the ninth year of the tournament fundraiser.
The tournament will be a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. with a 4-person team scramble format. Options include 18-hole with lunch and supper, or 9-hole and lunch. Supper tickets are also available in advance. Wild Rose Casino, Home State Bank and Drees Company have committed to major sponsorships. Other major and hole sponsorship opportunities are available. Sponsorships are welcome regardless of playing in the event. “We are grateful to host the fundraiser again this year, especially after Covid-19 didn’t allow us to have the event in 2020. Our goal is to bring the communities we serve together for a fun, safe event while at the same time celebrating and honoring our local healthcare heroes,” stated Nancy Houska, Foundation Director. “The golf outing has been an impactful event in the past for our Foundation. We look forward to honoring that tradition and supporting the Medical Center and our patients with the proceeds from this fundraiser.” Funds raised through the Foundation and the golf tournament are used to support the mission of the Medical Center: to provide quality, compassionate care to every patient and contributing to the well-being of every family. Foundation funds support patient-centered services and programs, equipment, construction or capital projects, and healthcare scholarships for local high school seniors pursing a medical career. The annual fundraiser helps the Medical Center continue the vision — Always Here, Always Caring.
