Thanks to Loren Turner

Loren Turner has served on the Jefferson Matters: Main Street Board of Directors for almost two years.  We have appreciated his leadership in the Business Improvement Committee.  Loren is the owner of Heaven’s Best.  He plans to stay involved on this committee but step down as chairperson.  Scott Weber of Unger Insurance has accepted the nomination on the Board of Directors and began his 3 yr. term at the February meeting.  Scott and Loren invite interested people to get involved on their committee.

Projects include the CDBG grant, Challenge grant, hosting Business After Hours, Building & Business Inventory, Business Succession, Open 4 Business Competition, helping with City acquired buildings and doing what they can to draw new businesses into the Main Street District.
