Art Stroll on May 30

The Tower View Team is ready to celebrate all of the public art pieces around the downtown. They will host an Art Stroll on Thursday, May 30 from 5-7 pm to view all of the pieces.  The stroll will begin at the Mahanay Bell Tower where those participating can view the newly installed rooftop art created and painted by Tony Sims.  The stroll will continue around the square to view the mini-bell towers, Ring Out for Art sculptures, painted public piano and the Jefferson mural painted by Greene County art students last spring.  The Tower View Team will be asking the artists to be near their pieces to explain or answer questions.  The Art Stroll will end at Twiins Shoppe for dutch treat ice cream refreshments.  The public is invited to participate.
