Reunion Rendezvous #ItsabigDeal is a big success

The first Reunion Rendezvous at the 40th Bell Tower Festival was a huge success.  With quite a few class reunions meeting over the festival with a float in the parade, this was the perfect shady spot to gather afterwards.  The committee organizing this event had a vision with flexible seating, table decorations, lighting in the trees, live music and hard cider available along with the many food trucks and beverages.  Live music from Jessica McClintock on the courthouse steps added a great touch.  People who attended loved it all and hope that it will become a tradition at the festival.  Many thanks to committee members Amy Milligan, Shannon Black, Lisa Turner, Bonnie Silbaugh, Tracy Deal, Ian Wilkinson, Philip Heisterkamp, Bridgette Heisterkamp and Peg Raney.  Annie Ostendorf was the contact for many of the class reunions so her involvement was appreciated too.  Jim & Collette Unger and Dave & Rosemary Hoyt took care of the Deal’s hard cider booth.  Yearbooks from various classes were available to view.  Volunteers from Jefferson Matters: Main Street were available to answer any questions about projects and activities of the organization or happening in town.
