Open4Business entry from Jefferson

Main Street Iowa offers a shark-tank style competition for Main Street businesses each year.  Jefferson can submit one entry through our Economic Vitality committee.  A business expansion idea was pitched to the committee and they voted to allow them to be Jefferson’s entry.  Rich and Reagan Osborne have been working on an idea for the upper story of their building where Greene Bean Coffee and the Jefferson Bee & Herald are located.  They are finalizing their plans for The Center Door Speakeasy as an upper story venue for events.  More info to come.  Follow them on their Facebook page for this new venture.  If the Osbornes move to the first round, they could win $8,000 towards this project.  Those winners then enter the state competition with a $20,000 prize.
