New Co-chairs for Economic Vitality

The Economic Vitality committee will be under new leadership with co-chairs Bonnie Silbaugh and Nick Sorensen.  Both have been on the committee for quite a few years and were participants in the Recruitment Team training held 1 1/2 yrs. ago.  Bonnie and Nick want to support our local businesses and one goal is to conduct business visits in 2020 with each business.  There are going to be buildings available in the downtown after renovations are completed in city-acquired buildings, so the committee is planning to make recruitment a priority too.

Nick Sorensen and Jamie Daubendiek will represent the Economic Vitality committee on the Board of Directors.

The Economic Vitality committee meets the 2nd Thursday of the month at 12:30 – 1:30 at the Main Street office.  They welcome people who want to get involved in their projects.  Specific projects for 2020 with budget requests will be part of the November mtg.
