Family Feud~Iowa Edition

This annual fundraiser of Jefferson Matters: Main Street is in great hands with the capable Organization Team.  Four new teams have been recruited and will be announced soon.  They will compete by answering “as the survey says” questions about the state of Iowa.  These surveys were taken during the 2019 Bell Tower Festival and other summer events to get the required 100 surveys.

Kevin Paulsen will host the gameshow event at History Boy Theatre on Saturday, April 18. Appetizers with BYO will begin at 7 pm with the first two teams competing at 8 p.m.  Dessert will be served during the quick intermission for the next 2 teams to compete.  A lightning round will end the evening to determine who will take home the 1st place and 2nd place traveling trophies for the next year.

Four commercials will be taped in early April and shown as would be seen on a TV gameshow.  Jeff from Jefferson will conduct these commercials on location.  These are available for $100 each on a first come, first served basis.  Please let Peg know at director@jeffersonmatters.org if interested.  The commercials will be shown on social media following the Family Feud event too.

Tickets will go on sale for $20/each on Monday, March 16 at Home State Bank, Peoples Bank, Heartland Bank, The Printer’s Box and the Main Street Office.  Online ticket sales will be through Jefferson Matters: Main Street’s Facebook page.   There is a limit of 150 tickets which includes the 4 teams.

This fundraising event is always full of laughs as people of ages have enjoyed the friendly competition.  Main Street appreciates the support of the community.
